No. Create a console account with email, Google or Apple and mint a key in a minute. No phone, no app, no health data. Most skills work straight away on what you send Sally: lab PDFs, meal photos, supplement stacks, questions.

The app is what adds your own biomarkers. Install A1C Insights with the same login and the keys you already minted start returning live data your wearables and CGM sync via HealthKit into A1C: glucose, sleep, activity, vitals and environment. That is what unlocks Health Sync, Metabolic Overview and Daily Insights. No second account, no new key.
How is Sally priced?

Where does my health data live, and is it safe?
Your health data lives in the same A1C backend that powers theA1C Insights app, scoped to your A1C user account rather than to a specific API key. The Sally gateway reads your records live when an agent calls a skill and returns typed JSON; lab PDFs and meal photos stream gateway → AI service → response and are not persisted by Sally. All traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, access is authenticated per API key, and each key is bound to a single A1C account so an agent can only read data for the user who issued that key. API keys can be revoked at any time from the console, and no third-party agents ever see your raw database, only the scoped responses Sally returns.
Is anything Sally returns medical advice?
No. Sally's responses are evidence-graded, source-cited reference material drawn from current ADA, ACC, ESC, and TCM frameworks. They are meant to give your agent clinical context, but Sally can still make mistakes and may be incomplete, so you should treat every response as informational only, double-check anything that sounds like advice, and consult a qualified clinician for decisions about diagnosis or treatment.
