Terms of Service

Sally Skills exposes health intelligence tools ("skills") over a REST API and an MCP endpoint, so that AI agents and applications you build can call them. Some skills answer from shared reference data. Some skills read the health data linked to your own A1C account, and only yours. By using the service you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

API access requires an A1C account and an API key minted at console.a1c.io. Each key is bound to one account: calls made with your key read your account's data and spend your account's balance, so treat keys as secrets. Do not publish them, embed them in client code, or share them. You can revoke a key at any time from the console, and you are responsible for all use of the service under your keys until you do.

• Do not attempt to access data belonging to another account.
• Do not resell, sublicense, or bulk-export the underlying reference corpus, grades, or knowledge base.
• Do not use the service to provide medical diagnosis or treatment, or in any setting where a failure could cause harm to a person.
• Do not probe, overload, or interfere with the service, and respect any rate limits we publish.
• Do not use the service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend keys or accounts that break these rules, and we will tell you when we do unless the law prevents it.

Skill calls are billed per call at the prices shown in the catalog at console.a1c.io, drawn from a prepaid wallet you fund by card. Some skills carry a free monthly allowance. An unlimited monthly subscription is available as an alternative to per-call billing. Payments are processed by Stripe: we never see your card number. Prices can change, and we will announce changes on the console changelog before they take effect. Unused prepaid balance stays on your account; if you want it returned, write to us and we will review the request, and we honor refunds wherever the law requires them. Charges are exclusive of any taxes that apply to you.

The Sally AI experience published for ChatGPT uses only the free, anonymous skills listed below. It requires no A1C account, sends us no personal identifiers, and offers nothing for purchase inside ChatGPT. Your conversation with ChatGPT itself is governed by OpenAI's terms.

Sally provides educational information with sources attached. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe, and is not a substitute for care from a qualified clinician. Responses can be wrong or incomplete. Decisions about diagnosis or treatment belong with a clinician, and anything urgent belongs with emergency services, not with Sally.

You keep all rights to the content you send to the service and to the applications you build on it. You may use skill responses inside your own products. The service itself, the skill implementations, the curated corpus published at almanac.a1c.io, and A1C's quality grades remain ours. Nutrition figures come from Open Food Facts under ODbL 1.0, and supplement records come from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database; the grades are A1C's own assessment and are not endorsed by the NIH.

The service is under active development and is provided without an uptime guarantee. We may add, change, or retire skills; when we retire or materially change one, we will announce it on the console changelog first.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent the law allows, A1C is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You can stop using the service and delete your keys at any time. We can suspend or end access for breach of these terms, for legal reasons, or if we discontinue the service, and we will give notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (payment obligations, content ownership, disclaimers, liability) survive termination.

We will update this page when the terms change and move the effective date above. Material changes will be announced at console.a1c.io. Using the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
